We study how price and quality are determined by consumers in health care markets and how this relationship impact their health care choices.

To best understand the patient decision-making process, HealthCARE Lab examines the relationship between price and perceived quality of healthcare providers and additional factors—proximity, provider quality rating, and necessity of the procedure, for instance—that influence these choices.
